The customer is one of the world's largest corporations based out of Egypt, engaged in the manufacture of shipping containers. They are widely acclaimed for their exclusive fleet of container ships. This customer specializes in supplying shipping containers for overseas enterprises.

The Requirement

When planning out the design architecture for a shipping container, especially for large utilities, cargo, hoarding and storage companies, there are several crucial factors that the client wanted us to strictly adhere to. First and foremost, we had to ensure that the design requirements were uniquely designed as per the specific region of operation and usage. The next challenging step was to incorporate modern technologies, wherein a container had to be accommodated with facilities to make it a home ideal for humans, even during a long duration of work or stay. This was the business situation faced by our customer.

The Challenge

The team at Outsource2india encountered the following challenges during the course of the project -

• We were to design shipping containers according to 2.7-1 and 2.7-2 versions of DNV standards (An authorized body that devises rules and standards for ships over 140+ years)
• Next, our team had to create design plans as per Egyptian standards and styles, while including provisions for the use of high-grade steel
• Finally, we had to assist the customer in building shipping containers that had a perfect blend of modern facilities, by drafting out a customized design after widespread research

• Skilled DNV specialists and experts were deputed to certify our designs for DNV, as complying to DNV standards was a high priority for the customer
• We conducted an exclusive DNV certification awareness program for our professionals in-house who were working on this customer's project
• The final design draft for DNV certification was created and a DNV certified design was delivered to the customer
