We were approached by a big-ticket event and trade show company based in Dallas, Texas. They were founded in 1927. What started as a humble decorating endeavor has grown into a full-fledged global phenomenon. Their first Canadian division opened in 1988; they became a market share leader in 1997. As of 2020, the client has offices in the US, UK, China, and Singapore.

The Requirement

The client was looking for an established outsourcing partner who can provide -

• Full-time designers to work round-the-clock from Mon to Friday
• Availability on Saturdays during peak season
• Robust infrastructure
• Skilled resources
• Consistent quality
• 48-hour turnaround

The Challenges

The client's in-house designers were not able to meet the demands of their sales team or the end client. They had engaged with freelancers, an endeavor that came with its challenges concerning quality, deadlines, and coordination. When the client approached us, they had a backlog of more than three months.

Our Solution

We hired and trained 16 FTEs with prior experience in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. The client actively enrolled in the training process; they visited our facilities for two weeks to introduce the designers to print materials that would help them understand the guidelines better. We divided the team into two shifts with eight resources each, thereby providing 16 hours of coverage to the client. It helped the client to clear their backlogs within the first month of partnering with us.
