Sticker Design Services for an Advertising Firm

A client approached us to design of several different sizes of stickers for Australian Rugby Clubs. The project was part of a larger project the client was managing, and needed to fit their specific requirements.

The Client

Based in Melbourne, Australia, the client specializes in advertising work that includes branding, promotion, advertising, packaging, website design, graphic design, and logo design. They were in need of a partner who could assist them with the design of 753 stickers, representing 7 different sizes for every Rugby Club in Australia. They needed the following qualities in a partner -

• Someone with the expertise to create 753 stickers quickly that matched the brands of each of the Rugby Clubs represented
• Stickers needed to contain images of the clubs' logo, players and other elements for use in promotion at upcoming matches
• The project needed to be completed in a short timeframe, before the start of upcoming matches

Challenges

There were several challenges faced by the Outsource2india team during the development process of this project. These challenges included -

• All 753 stickers, in 7 different sizes, had to be completed in just 30 days
• This project was the first of its kind for the O2I team. As a result, additional time was required for analysis of the client's requirements and to ensure every design was accurate within the timeframe provided
• The client had very specific requirements for the project. However, after the project was completed, they needed to make several modifications to certain images and design elements that deviated from those original requirements. The client did provide additional delivery time for these changes

The Solution

To ensure timely and accurate completion of this project, the Outsource2india team took following steps -

• To start the project, the team provided 1 sample to the client for approval. This sample was approved before the team proceeded with the rest of the designs
• To ensure timely completion, 7 designers were assigned to work on the project. Each designer was assigned to one of the 7 design sizes that were needed
• The team ensured there was bleeding on all stickers (additional printing beyond the edges of the trim to ensure none of the design would be destroyed while peeling it off
• Once the first set of stickers with all 7 sizes was completed, it was delivered to the client to review and check if they had any feedback
• The team worked 7 days a week, including weekends, to ensure the project was completed and delivered on time

Results

As a result of the work done by the Outsource2india team, the following results were achieved for the client -

• The team was able to achieve an accuracy of 99.9% compared to the original benchmark set by the client
• The project was completed to the client's satisfaction within 30 days
• The client was very satisfied and assured the team that they would have more projects to assign in the future
