The client was on a lookout for an outsourcing firm that specializes in architectural drafting & detailing and can draft architectural plans based on the site survey.
The client approached Outsource2india after knowing about our expertise in the assorted fields of architectural services, including designing, modeling, BIM, drafting, etc. They provided the below four inputs and asked us to draft the architectural plan and develop the elevation using the images/photographs from the plan and maps.
Their main goal was to develop at least 2 plans per week.
We formed a dedicated team of a draftsman and quality control expert. After gathering the client's requirement, we concluded that each plan would take 15 man-hours to complete.
As soon the project started, we had to visualize the plans using the limited inputs, which was an AutoCAD file and maps' PDF. Also, such a project was new to our team, thus, they had to be cautious and skillful at the same time.
As we received the plan sketch (roof height, the thickness of the walls, etc.), site survey data, and property name, we started the planning using the AutoCAD. Our team developed the elevations after seeing the images sent by the client and verifying the Google map. They did a thorough quality check and sent the files to the client for review.
Upon receiving the files, the client suggested a few changes. Our team addressed those changes and sent the final file. The O2I's team incorporated the technical details based on geographical conditions.
