Team Leader - Design and Analysis

• 4+ years of total experience
• 2 + years of product design and development experience should include design, analysis and close interaction with manufacturing.
• 1+ years in project management
• Experience in interacting with global teams
• Experience in interfacing / immersion in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in leading a team
• Exposure to global vendor development / sourcing practices  

• Understands project requirements for machine design and analysis, makes time and resource estimates for delivery
• Plans and executes projects on time, cost and quality
• Evaluates technical capability of vendors and transitions non-core projects
• Is willing to travel on short assignments to global locations
• Coaches, mentors and develops team to constantly higher levels of technical ability 

We are looking for candidates who are currently employed as Design and Development Engineers or Project Leaders in technical capacities or Senior Design Engineers.

• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated proficiency in Machine / equipment design, standard parts (motors, valves, etc.) selection, geometric dimensioning and tolerance as per functionality and manufacture.
• Demonstrated proficiency in structural and thermal FEA using ANSYS / Pro E or other FEA software .
• Exposure to empirical calculations.
• Experimental testing skills will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated proficiency in planning and execution of projects and managing a small team.
