I had a terrible encounter. Although I know that all aren't like this. I hired Cambitindia.com and they ripped my entire site clean. I would recommend that you do a good background check, but more importantly don't just hire because they are more reasonable. Hire someone in the US! I am not xenophobic, I am a realist. I was willing to pay this guy $10.00 per hour and he charges $4.00 per hour and he had issues with how we make more money and etc. It is terrible, absolutely terrible! First timers really need to understand that the first couple of months will be a nightmare. It doesn't matter how many consultants they bring in to prepare for outsourcing - they will end up making a series of mistakes. This is a natural process - you have to learn from experience. Of course, if you have experienced outsourcers on your management team this will be a lot easier, but make sure that you have built a lot of slack into the schedules so that you can make your mistakes without increasing the stress levels too dramatically!
